Introduction ๐
Paper hands fund diamond hands. On-chain. Forever.
Diamond Hands Protocol (DHP) is a fully deployed, admin-free vault protocol that converts trading friction into holder rewards. Every vault wraps one ERC-20 token. Entering costs a fixed 5% tax; leaving costs a fixed 10%. Of every tax collected:
- 80% is distributed pro-rata to remaining holders, in the underlying token
- 10% is permanently locked out of supply (burn-by-accounting)
- 10% funds the DAO and the vault's creator and platform partners
There is no yield source, no treasury strategy and no team payoff โ value flows from churn to conviction, mechanically, on-chain.

One-sentence summary: DHP is a permissionless factory of self-contained, key-less token vaults where the exit tax is the product: the 10% you pay to leave is split 80/10/10 between the holders who stayed, the permanent lock, and the protocol's partners.
The problem & the thesisโ
Token communities leak value through churn. Every panic-sell dumps on the holders who stayed; every "reward" pool eventually gets farmed and deserted. DHP makes the churn itself fund the conviction.
| The problem | The DHP answer |
|---|---|
| Exit asymmetry โ sellers exit freely while holders absorb the dump | Tax the exit, not the victim โ a fixed 10% leave-tax is paid by whoever leaves, into a pool owned by whoever stays |
| Value extraction โ team taxes ship value out | Rewards in kind โ dividends are paid in the underlying token; no second token to dump, no inflation |
| Admin risk โ mutable taxes, pause keys, upgrade keys | Remove the admin โ no pause, no setter, no upgrade; the factory is renounced. The code is the policy |
| Fake yield โ APYs that are dilution or marketing budget | Burn by accounting โ 10% of every tax is locked out of backing forever; no yield is promised because none exists |
What DHP is โ and is notโ
| Diamond Hands Protocol IS | Diamond Hands Protocol is NOT |
|---|---|
| A permissionless vault factory: any wallet can create a vault for any qualifying ERC-20 | A yield protocol โ there is no external yield source of any kind |
| A dividend engine: taxes accrue pro-rata to holders, claimable in the underlying token | An investment product or a promise of profit โ payouts depend entirely on future churn |
| A deflationary mechanism: every tax permanently locks 10% of itself out of backing | A trading protocol โ vaults never swap, stake, lend or touch your tokens beyond holding them |
| A key-less system: vaults expose zero admin functions; factory ownership is renounced | Governed by a team โ there are no team keys, no treasury control over vaults, no upgrade path |
Everything a future "bad actor" could want to do โ raise taxes, redirect dividends, pause withdrawals, mint shares, redirect the burn โ is not merely forbidden; there is no function for it. The attack surface is deleted, not protected.

This documentation is for information only. Every Diamond Hands Vault is a zero-sum game by design: payouts come from other users' taxes, not from yield. Users can lose tokens. See Risk Disclosure.
